Site access an issue?
Onsite ‘Stick Build’ – Built to the same specification as the A-Hus Closed Cell system.
Having set their minds on building our low energy A-Hus kit from Sweden, reality quickly forced a re-think for this client as site access was very tight so limiting the size of vehicular access. This ruled out the use of A-Hus’ large panel closed cell system, but this did not rule out a building to the same specification as their A-Hus dream house. We decided to utilise the stick build system of construction to the same specification as our Swedish system. Work started in April and the family moved into their new home in October being fully project managed by the client Mrs Caldwell. So well insulated is their new home that no specific heating system has been employed and to date no one has complained of being cold!
